Film Movement Launches Subscription Service Built On Logic

Founded in 2002 as one of the first-ever subscription film services with its DVD-of-the-Month Film Club, Film Movement is a North American distributor of award-winning independent and foreign films based in New York City, releasing more than 250 feature films and dozens of shorts culled from prestigious film festivals worldwide. In 2019, Film Movement launched their new website built on Logic at www.filmmovement.com. The Film Movement website highlights theatrical releases, DVD and Blu-Ray titles, subscription enrollment to their monthly Film Club, and access to press and marketing materials.
Logic empowers Film Movement by populating their website with hundreds of film titles, descriptions, trailers, press kits, and images via API from their in-house database. The easy-to-use CMS facilitates frequent updates to keep content fresh and in front of returning customers.

Film Movement’s theatrical releases include American independent films, documentaries, and foreign art house titles. Our catalog includes titles by directors such as Hirokazu Kore-eda, Maren Ade, Jessica Hausner, Andrei Konchalovsky, Andrzej Wajda, Diane Kurys, Ciro Guerra and Melanie Laurent.
In 2015, Film Movement launched the reissue label Film Movement Classics, featuring new restorations released theatrically as well as on Blu-ray and DVD, including films by such noted directors as Eric Rohmer, Peter Greenaway, Bille August, Marleen Gorris, Takeshi Kitano, Arturo Ripstein, Sergio Corbucci and Ettore Scola.
The Film Movement Film Club continues to thrive, and in late 2018 Film Movement Plus was launched, providing a new and improved subscription streaming service, available at FilmMovementPlus.com as well as on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku and mobile devices.
